SF Bay Area spotted thread

Original owner traded it in @ the local Buick dealership. They then ship off cars that they're not interested in to a second party.

I was shocked a Buick Tech didn't jump on it at the dealership.

That's how I got the my first GN in my sig. I worked in sales at a local Chevrolet/BuickIsuzu dealership back in 1995 (closed October 08) and a gentleman who actually lived around the block from me traded in his 87 GN w/117k mi for a brand new crew cab dually to tow his family's race car. He was the original owner and brought the car out from Florida. I scooped it up with the quickness. Congrats for your co-worker

I really regret trading in the car back in 98 just months before I learned of our local Turbo Buick group in Northern California. The first car show I attended with my 86 T-type I saw my old GN there with it's new owner. We went back to my place and I gave him a full set of new emblems that were not put on after it was painted by the original owner in 92 or 93. The car is still around and I think it's on it's 6th owner up in the Sacramento area from what I gather.

i see a GN & a WE4 every week maybe 2-3 times a week, parked by these att vans, with the windows roled down. sometimes i cant help it, i hop in the drivers seat & pretends its mine........!!!! actually the cars belong to GMPOWER, must be nice to wake up in the morning and go " WHICH 1 OF THE 3 GN's DO I WANNA DRIVE OR SHOULD I TAKE THE WE4 ".......... J/K GMPOWER, i dont hop in ur cars, thats just rude.....

i do see an old lady driving a GN in the sunset district, & when i complemented her on the car, she said " its her friends & she's just driving it...   ".... that must be a very trusting friend.....

I ran across this video and there's 3 GN's and what appears to be 1 WE4 in the video.

3 GN's & 1 WE4

The WE4 was me. The GN on the rims runs really well. I got a chance to meet him on the HIGHWAY that day for a little FUN.. There were a few more GN's that the camera did not get. That rideout was cool. The GN on rims and I were pulling out on those V8's. I

i think i saw an ad on CL about that ride out, i wanted to check it out but i was in the city & the get together was around commute times in the east bay.... might have to try to hit the next one....

You know later that night or should I say morning (12:00-1:00am) they took it to 7th St and did a little racing. I did not participate though. They started doing D-Nuts and I left. May 9,2009 they are doing a Grudge Match @ Sac Raceway. NO D-NUTS there. I'm getting my S#IT together now so I can be ready for that. That's why I'm trying to get to the track this Sat, so I can test and tune.

Get @ me..

where u goin this Sat??? ill be @ Sac for TNT, 12-4 or 12-6, then grudge fest that night, but i cant make it to GF. i looked on the calendar they're havin a NHRA Chassisworks event, so the track tomorrow should be prepped well for the faster guys racing on Sun... hope to see ya there..... im usually parked in the lot by the stagin lanes, ill by a red 67 Camaro w/a single turbo BBC...

feel free to hit me up 4157472773.....

I think I see your Malibu in the video near the WE4 too. Looked like had GNX wheels.

Hey John, I know that lady she lives off of Lawton. I had a service call at her place back around 2000, and saw a Gn sitting in her garage. I asked her if it was for sale and she said it wasnt hers, its owned by a friend who gets to store it in her garage, and she gets to drive it in return. I saw it was crashed about 7 years ago  but it has been fixed since then. The GN has no power windows which you know I like!

Snapped these today at a local car show.

This '87 has 30 original miles. Yes, 30!
