Ordered parts from them, going on a couple weeks now no response to e-mail and you can't call them. But that website Takey the Money Real Good, it works perfect. The same day I also ordered for Cottons, Fullthrottle and RJC everything came that week. I going to give it a few more(10 business) days before i throw a fit!!!

Did you use paypal? If so and if it's over $25 I'd file a "no parts received" complaint. Under $25 I don't think they'll do much for you.

in case you hadn't. try bweavy@aol.com. include your order number. he always responds to that. atleast in my experience. also, enlist sgrim to help you. good luck. what did you order?

Brian will take care of you guys. I have been frustrated with him over the past couple of months and got sucked into the trend of bashing him. I always got my parts after contacting him and an apology. I don't use my TR as a means of transportation, so I dont expect these vendors to be Autozone and get me back on the road. Brian sells a lot of parts that you cant find elsewhere at a reasonable price. Brian has been in this hobby and a reputable vendor for about as long as these cars have. I think he has some customer service issues, but I'm sure he will make good on his obligations. My two cents.

I have to agree. Brian has alsways done good by me.:)

See... This is WRONG!

I was just going to order from him....BUT NOT ANYMORE:rolleyes:

Decarlo Sloan..... I would NOT hesitate to order anything from Brian. Do not let the nay sayers direct you. If you ever take the time to notice, which I have, is it is always the same people complaining about these issues. YOU have NO IDEA what the issue or delay was with the transaction between Kenan James and Brian. He has had his hands full. I can FULLY understand your frustration, but to come on here is like the last alternative. AND it has been posted several times to email him at the AOL address.

I am sure this will be resolved, but to come on here without exhausting all other ways is just plain wrong as far as I am concerned. This forum is not one of mine, but the admins are aware of it and will respond when needed.

Just my opinion, but an educated one.
Good Luck.

Another way to look at this,,

We own a 2006 Chevrolet Equinox that my wife drives. Since 2006 when we bought it, it has been at the dealership for a total of 42 days for warranty work within 10,000 miles and 1.5 years. Point being, should I go to a Chevrolet site and say that all Chevy dealers build crap? ( Even if they do, which I am slowly being convinced of.) I think not, so I hope you can see the anology I am trying to show.
Do not condem a guy or a business because of a few bad dealings. You know, (and I will be absolutly fried and probobly tar and feathered for this statement), but "SOMETIMES" the customer can be the pain in the a$$ as well. I am NOT saying this is the case in this instance, but sit for a day on phones with PTS XTREME, or Kirbans, or Gbody parts, or SE Turbo, or Precision Turbo, or any other vendor on this board. I would bet with in 1-2 days you would have a WHOLE new propective on what we as vendors deal with on a daily basis. Trust me, it is not fun. What really sucks , is you have to keep in mind, that we cannot just go to the wharehouse and pick up all the parts NOS or new from GM anymore, so in turn, we are relyling on our manufactures to be on time as well. To give you an instance, I got 17 Pans on order right now from customers. My welder just moved his operation to a larger shop and is still getting organized. Mean while, I have to keep my customers informed that there is nothing I can do and my welder is doing the best he can. I will not go anywhere else as you are all used to the "GREAT" aluminum welding that Dave Thornhill Engineering does for us on these pans,as he is the BEST around. So , what do I do? I got these customers climbing on me but they are being patient (Which I appreciate and BTW I will be shipping the first batch I picked up today, tonight, but I will still be waiting for more. So in this instance, I am waiting on my manufacturer to get them done. Do you think they ( the welder) call me to tell me what is going on? HELL NO!, You just have to wait as our market is so very small. These guys are used to having to make thousands of parts, Not hundreds. So we, in turn, are small potatos.
Just some insight into the vendors world and I am SURE Brian lives this as well.
I wish ALL other vendors would respond to this to make you all understand that it is not always our vendors holding you up, but our manufacturers holding us up. I would bet EVERY VENDOR on here could tell you a story of exactly this.

So give the guy a break, Email him as you have been told several times and I bet you get a response. I also believe this forum is very good if used correctly.

Anyway, listen to me or not, this is the truth
Hope you all understand
I KNOW I try my best to accomidate everybody, but just like MOM said, "You cannot please all of the people all of the time, so be courtious, do your best, and that is all that can be expected of you".

Again, just my two cents, which is now worth 7 cents to make. Gotta love the government.

I would like to see other vendors post to this with their beliefs. I know this is Kenan's thread, but he opened the box, I would like other Vendors' opinions.
Reason being, this is becoming more and more common, and all you guys are doing is pissing off vendors and more and more vendors are saying, "Screw this, It is just not worth it anymore". Gyrhead, is the PERFECT example of this. He got fed up, so you loose another vendor. Soon you all better go to school to learn every aspect of your cars as you will have to not only remove and replace your parts, but you may have to even make them yourselves, which 95% of you COULD NEVER DO!!!!!!!
Keep driving the vendors away, and you will see down the road.
I just cannot figure out any other way to explain this to you guys.
I don't want you to think I am just on a rampage, I am telling you from both sides of TB.com (vendors/customer) and it does not look good in the future.

Again, I hope you guys understand what it is that I am trying to convey.

DAMN !!!!! well said my friend. The very few vendors left are getting tired of all the BS. Guys just remember WHEN THIER GONE --- THIER GONE !!!!!!!

For those of us who were around when these cars were new, this is truely a sad era. I remember and miss the old vendors ie ATR, 0-60, Bowling Green Customs, Quad Air, and much more. Please guys, lets respect and appreciate what we have before they have had so much, that they just give up.

We never charge a card until it is shipped. Friday I shipped a man's upper control arms & didn't get paid until yesterday even though he was having a few problems. Not a past customer but I'm sure he will be buying from us now on. Sometimes Crap happens!
I get burned alot on things like that. If I would post I would be violating a customers personal information.
Then you say you e-mail & we do not return, B.S.
I love when I get a message I called 20+ freaking times. Well did you leave a message besides this time???
By us not answering the phones we are able to help 30 people an hour instead of 10 & hearing all 3 lines were busy & we got the fax.

If you use Pay pal they will take it out & credit our account that is how Pay pal works.
Kenan_James you have purchased alot from us in the past. Your drain line was an issue a few weeks ago with another customer from another vendor. We had 10 in & they sold in 2 days. Sometimes they sit here for a month.
I only have what our manufacturer tells us to go by.
I ordered 20 more different style to give the customer a choice. I here the same things about these lines too short don't fit etc..
Then others I never ever had a problem.
Our new units will be able to be cut to length & installed.
I will still carry the others as well.

My rant

I'm not going to give you the dignity of typing your name. Do a search,He got caught with his hand in the cookie Jar. Recieved a new switch & kept the other & was e-baying it.It was great on e-bay but a ticking time bomb for his car:rolleyes: He did return it after being caught. Threatened me via e-mail. Just another reason I want to go to BG

decarlo sloan I would go with your gut if you don't feel comfortable buying from us just don't. There are alot of things we can not control like suppliers espescially with BG coming up & alot of performance parts being bought up.
We have been around for a long time.We sell to all Gbody cars but specailze in Buicks. Most vendors here specialize in only Buicks. We are overwhelmed with orders but I still look at the loading dock every day & there are at least 30 packages a day leaving out of here. 50 is average & that is not 1 part but multiples. NEW & USED. I don't think too many vendors get orders for Race tronix injector harness Metco Fuel tank & a complete used posi rear in the same orders. We do.

Bruce You are my hero. I love a man who tells it like it is. People do not realize your running a business, trying to take care of customers, dealing with employees, etc, etc, etc..
Then there is your free time calling suppliers.
Then there is the above vacation time where your contacting manufacturers to make parts 50-100 at a time to keep 20 year old cars going. Lay out your $
to build crap to hear it is made in China. He is building over there for pennies & getting rich off it. Next post I'm bankrupt.
Like Bruce said same old people.

It does wear on you. There were a few times this year I was like f-this. I have 125 cars here Plenty of discontinued parts new in the box. Just come in & e-bay crap every 3 days or so & take a break. Get rid of my employees & be done. I have never felt like this since I have been in this business. I normally enjoy going to work. That is why I do this.

That is about as well said & every vendor here admitted or not would say the same thing. The worst thing I did is leave a 96K sq ft facility & on the advice of another vendor & drop ship to stream line. When you are that dependant on others you have problems. I love N.C. but what I miss is looking at 165 cars in doors & people's Jaws dropping when they toured the place of how much we actually had.
Fuelie600 Trey Crease from 0-60 stopped up one time & couldn't believe what we had. His second sentence after walking thru the office was I don't miss it at all!

I threatened you???? Oh my god! That's way too rich coming from you, considering you were the one wanting me to show up at BG just so you could physically pick a fight with me. You even said so in your last post towards me.

And if I did threaten you, how comes you still have yet to post it? Oh that's right because it's all bull**** made up lies!!! And you and I both know that. Sorry I don't make threats. But it's easier for you to try and slander someone else and lie to try and cover your ass.

Furthermore, as a vendor you should have informed me the part would be drop shipping (not as if you didn't know), but you didn't and with the rep you currently have, it looked to me like another case of Brian Weaver didn't ship my parts. So of course I planned to get my money back. By the way, did I mention "good customer service" starts with good communication? ;)

The funny thing was I never could get in contact with you, but when I tried to re-coup my money it sure made you speak up. And if you recall I was selling that part for someone who was building a show rig, I even mentioned so in the ad, but you want to point figers at me, well it appears to me you obviously wern't too concerned if a (now former) customer would have lost brakes while making a necessary travel across the U.S., thru the mountains, in treacherous weather. I bet that would have made your day now wouldn't it? How sad.

Now if I really were the type of person you say I am DO YOU REALLY THINK I WOULD HAVE TAKEN THE TIME TO SEND YOUR SWITCH BACK????? Think about it. I could have told you to kiss off and kept it but I didn't. I did the right thing, and not out of fear of you either. I did it after I had discovered there was another part on the door step of my old residence because my old landlord told yet, yet you didn't. In fact you told me (when I called) you had a replacement part ON THE SHELF at your warehouse you could ship out that day. Going a distance of 300 + miles, that's 2, maybe 3 days at best in the mail. But nope, instead it had to be drop shipped. Well gee guy, if you would have only bothered to inform me (it's not as if you didn't know) then at least I could have understood.

I tried to speak my side of the story but instead of trying to give me the benefit of the doubt you'd rather form your own assumptions, then get all bent out of shape and revert to name calling and physical threats towards me as well as on board slander. That's ok. You might have 10 years seniority on me but you also have 10 years less maturity than I do as you have clearly shown in spades.

I have moved on, but it's quite obvious you are still holding on to the past and cannot let go. Time to let sleeping dogs lie.

THANKS BRAIN GOT MY GNX WHEEL CAPS TODAY BUT ONE PROBLEM DIDN'T FIT ON THE ENKIE RIMS I GOT SUCKS HAVE TO BUY SOME GNX WHEELS TO FIT THESE CAPS ANY IDEA WHAT I'M LOOKING AT USED OR NEW THANKS.

Well said !!!

Bruce, I am not a vendor on here but I do own my own buiness, Dreamscape Kustom paint here in Georgia. You got it started so now I am going to say my piece lol. I really try to go out of my way to please the customer but there is no pleasing some people! The more you do the less they appciate it. Everyone wants a 10,000 dollar job for 1000 bucks. No one thanks you for quality work anymore but they sure bitch fast if something isn't right! My work stands for itself, ask Brian about the rosewood car I just did for him! That job would have been about 2 grand more than I charged him for it but didn't and you know why? Because he APPCIATED it and knows good work when he sees it!!! He throwed in some extra parts for me as a thank you, has anyone else done that, gave a tip, etc, OH HELL NO ! Have some patcience guys and thank someone sometimes and you will be damn amazed how much better your life will be and you may just make a friend along the way! You know how many buicks I have painted from doing the TFT car for free, NONE, I didn't do it for advertisement but hell just one would have been nice and I am sure I am not the only vendor , supporter, etc that is in the same boat on that one! I'm just the only one to say it! Instead of buying so much junk on ebay try supporting the guys on here that really know these cars some or all you will be able to get will end up being crap from evil bay and who are you going to call when it doesn't work then! Vendors, try to keep in mind that there are a lot of guys out here that do appciate the hard work you do and the parts you supply for these cars, try to keep customer service good as well though as that will hurt you fast and so everyone knows that I am not just taking the vendors side! That being said I am not saying I am perfect by a long shot here and have had to redo a thing or to in the past but doing that will make happy customers and the buiness coming. On the other hand though sometimes its just not worth it and easier to just say enough with some people because no matter what you do they are still going to find something to bitch about!
OK off the pullpit now lol:biggrin:
Daniel Ray

my 2 cents

hey brain,up here we just toss them overboard!!have dealt with brain over the years, and always will in future.thanks man a.j.
