The AC Delco PF52 filter is the equivalent.
You should be able to cross it to the Wix brand.
It looks like 51036 is the number.

It's not really necessary. I've seen no hard data indicating that filter helps or hurts anything. It's all speculation and conjecture.

Get one if you want, but if you can't find it, the regular filter is fine.

I do run the 51036, and as stated above I probably change oil and filter often enough the extra filtering probably has no filtering advantage.
I personal like it thinking it may help cool the oil because of its size and location. Again no hard evidence my thinking holds any truth.

Look it over close as some of the Wix line isn't made in USA any more.

i ran into this on my 2020 silverado

read about it right after i bought 3 wix filters

back to mobli1 filters on that vehicle

Never heard of Baldwin, or saw that filter before that’s why, but looks like an option.

Interesting. I've never heard of these Baldwin filters. Looks like it's got an anti drain back... Always used the napa gold 1036 until I heard they switched manufacturing. Now I'm on the wix 51036 as they used to interchange... I'll have to grab a balwin to check out next time I'm in kearney...it's a couple hrs away...

I've used Baldwin and they are great filters made right here in the midwest, but can be a pain to purchase at the normal parts house retailers, they simply don't stock them. In my town luckily I have a parts store that stocks them, so its easy for me.

Baldwin produces alot of filters for large equipment like AG and construction. It may be possible to check with businesses that sell filters for large equipment, they may be a distributor for Baldwin and maybe stock them. If not its likely they can bring them in easily.

Wow, thanks got all the information. I only wanted a part number and got all of this.

So, six used to be a frequent flyer on here, are we boycotting WIX now?
