Hi if you wanted to log your fuel pump voltage for example with your XFI, but you only have a 5 volt input you need to build a voltage divider network, and connect to your analog inputs to lets say 16 volts in =5volts out

what is the input impedance of the XFI aux input, as it will act like a resistor parallel to R2.

Regardless, be sure to use a voltmeter to verify/calibrate the reading.

That is a good point Bob, maybe a adjustable high precision variable resistor to compensate.
