A while ago I installed Moog 5662 springs with 1.5 coils cut off. The car sat on the bumpstops. So today I went to install my new 5658 springs with 1/2 coil cut. I installed the same springs in my dad's T-type recently and it sat as high or higher than stock and I wanted mine a little lower. I thought 1/2 coil would do it but when I let it down, it went straight to the bumpstops. The spring doesn't do anything, it just slams down on the bumpstops. I'm out of ideas as to why it's doing this. I doubt the 1/2 coil I cut would make it that low. I need to find out what's going on before I order any more springs. Any help is appreciated. Hopefully I get it figured out before I burn it.
