Windshield Moulding Satin or gloss?

About to get the GN painted. Is the windshield and rear window moulding satin black or gloss? Thanks!!

I don't think gloss paint around the windshield would be a good idea. Glare would be nasty!

I agree with above post satin is the shade of choice and wold be most correct goodness knows I seen enough of them....

The car body is supposed to be glossy not look like an orange....

I've actually seen a glossy GN with glossy windshield moldings. It was'n really too noticeable. It blended nicely. Either would work.

Satin....went out and double checked my '87.

It would be nice to find a windshield that would eliminate the moldings. I've seen it done on Overhaulin and it looks much more clean/modern.

I remember reading a post about someone who wanted to manufacture some moulding-less quarter windows but I think in the end the project was abandoned and it never happened… Never heard about a moulding-less windshield though.

Ok I was thinking the metal trim molding that goes all around the windshield. Now I have to agree with the others. The base molding needs to be satin.

It's a wrap that Walmart had. Very good stuff.

Yep, and I hung two coffe cans on the rear tail pipes
