How accurate is the knock retard data from WinALDL?

Don't know for sure but I'm trying it out too. Mine showed 5.7 degrees a 3850 rpm
I gonna borrow my bud's scanmaster and compare the two. I'm just breaking in a fresh rebuild so I haven't gone WOT just yet. I'm running 91 octane gas for now and it's right around 100 degrees here so I'm thinking that the software is prolly pretty close on the knock. Everything else seems to work ok on it though. I'll let you know after I compare the two. Later!!
