who's running the 295/65/15 drag radial and how did they fit

Im want to try a taller tire and switch to a drag radial.. The 295/65/15 is 30 inches tall and 10.9 inch wide. I run a convo pro that is 8.5 wide w/ a 4.5 backspace(i think) . What mod must be done to run these. Thanks.

if you are only tracking the car run the hoosier. they are a little shorter at 29.6 and softer.you can run air bags but you really should notch the rails.without the notch air bags will have to be high and the driving suck even with taller fronts,but the tire takes a big hit when launching.

Thanks, i think i will just go with the 275 drag radials after doing a search on the 295's.

You know RJC is running a 295 mt drag radial and he said they fit fine. I'm running the usual 275/60 right now with stock springs and air bags and plan to run the 295 once all my tread has turned to smoke He has the inner quarter rolled a little but you shouldn't need any mods to make them fit! The car looks mean as can be too with those huge tires! Go for it
