whichmaster cylinder?

I was asked a question regarding what is the correct master cylinder for a 83 T with a hydroboost system. Is it supposed to be cast iron or the aluminum one with the plastic resorvoir? Also, what is the correct bore diameter of the master cylinder? I've seen 15/16"and 1 1/16" being listed in parts books. Thanks.

Mine is cast iron. Don't know about the bore size.

On my '85 GN with hydroboost its a cast iron unit. Never had it apart yet so I am unable to help you with the bore sizing question.
