hey guys, i was going to buy a cat so i can pass emissions, and summit only listed a few, i was hoping to get a 3" so i would be okay if i ever bought a 3" dp.. anyway.. summit lists a 3" cat with an air tube, would that work on our cars, could I just plug the air tube?.. thanks.

My advice: Get the right one from ATR or Poston's or someone like that.

there isnt a 'right' one.

i have an atr 2.5" dp, it has no flange. any slip fit cat works for me.

if i wasnt thinking about the future, i would get the $61.95 CatCo 2.5" dia 14" long converter...

but because there are 3" dp's out there, someday i might get one and id hate to have to buy a new cat and cutout, so, buying a 3" cat might be a better option. might, that is, providing it will work.

regardless, thanks for the input :) any reply i better than none @ all.
