I recently installed a fuel pump Hotwire kit and noticed I had another connection coming off the back of the alternator running towards the firewall. After following the wire to a harness I noticed a cut red wire and the alternator wire was connected to the other end.
-The first picture show the cut red wire and the other end of that wire going to the alternator.
-The second picture show the same spliced alternator wire further down the harness going into a connection on the firewall.
-The third picture show the connection at the firewall.
Before I reconnect the original wire I just want to know what did the previous owner had "Hotwired". Thanks in advance!
