What are these for?

I recently bought an 86 for my wife. I was under the hood checking things out and found these. Does anybody have any idea what they are for?
First is some sort of switch on the TPS that is wired into a relay, and the other is wire that has been spliced into the fuel pump relay. I am new to all of this so any help is greatly appreciated.

It looks like a wide open throttle micro-switch. It probably had a nitrous kit on it.

+2 on the WOT switch.
