I never heard of that car? Pretty cool story, talk about getting your moneys worth. I had a 78 with the small olds V8. That thing was a swiss watch, had it for a few years and I think the only thing I fixed on it was a tail light bulb.
Aluminum flashing and tub caulk work for the "small" leaks you get at 250K miles.
My 1970 Cutlass looked better than that when I drove it to the junk yard, I still miss that car.
I'd say the front right fender is worth saving, the rest not so much.
