speedo help

I have a 1984 regal t type with digital speedo with the turbo power lights and the only thing that works on the speedo is the the turbo power lights but sometimes the speedo numbers pop up when im driving but only for a few seconds then go back off. Could this be a short in the wiring or do you think i just need a new speedo?

Dead Dash condition. It can be repaired. Send the cluster to Caspers.
