Some new 'times'

Thier not accurate, i know. but they give me a feel of how my car is performing.

Tonight i went out to a BRAND NEW Asphalt paved road. Straight, flat, long, I had some chalk and my fathers friend has this tool for measuring skid marks at accidents, (yes a former police officer).

I made some marks with some crayon sidewalk chalk at the starting line, 60', 1/8th mile.

I had two buddys with me. one at the 60' mark, one at the 1/8th. both had stop watches, I had a stop watch in the car with me so i could measure my 0-60 time.

Anyway here goes, first run, leave the line with 1psi of boost, no wheel spin, let off early

2.01 60'
9. 34 1/8th mile 76mph
0-60 - 7.25 sec

Second run, This time I reviewed my stats, decided to launch a little harder. 5psi of boost. spund bad, featherd it. held it to the floor.

2.05 60'
9.52 1/8th mile 77mph
0-60 7.53 sec
I was upset dearly.

Last run, This time I decided to launch at around 2-3psi of boost, held it down left out of Over drive.

1.78 60'
8.98 1/8mile 81mph
0-60 6.18sec.

This time I NAIL'D it. I was pleased.

This was on 93oct gas, Kenne Bell Chip, Exhaust and 13psi of boost. Oh and KYB Gas-a-just shocks.

I also welded a bar between the two differential braces and it made so much difference.

Tires were...

Front: Firestone FireHawk Indi 500s. 215/65/R15
Rear: Firestone FireHawk Indi 500s. 235/60/R15

I love these tires.

With an 1.8th mile like that what do you guys think i could run in the 1/4th? just a guess.

NOTE: THESE TIMES ARE NOT TRACK TIMES. THEY ARE STOPWATCH TIMES SO THEY COULD VERY WELL BE INACCURATE!
