Do not believe it will record until WOT is acheived.
Should have less than 5 with pump gas and 0 with race gas.
If you are seeing 10 and rising as you get into it, start looking for a boost hose off.
Can you hear ping or knock? If not, can you hear something hitting as you get into it? Downpipe hitting something causing false knock.
What are your blms @ 60mph? greater than 128 you are lean, add more fuel.
