No issues with heat and the exhaust. The shop that built it makes downpipes and exhausts out of aluminum. It's been on there two years and still looks fine.
They just did another car for us and we have one more over there waiting for this setup.
They welded a band clamp on the downpipe, and the two piece exhaust system has a bandclamp junction. I can drop the whole exhaust off in a few minutes.
