Forced to sell due to being laid off.. On Center "153" block. Block has no damage, The ears were cut off at one point in it's younger years, but were welded back on at some point. Later casting front cap has 4 bolts. Bore 3.965, Bushed lifter bores, BMS 3.50 std./std. crank, Carillo 6.5 rods, J/E pistons. Solid Biller roller cam 232/232. .060 Cemetics, 9.125 cr. Comp 7/16 pushrods, White Racing HV front cover and External Oil Pump, Stage II ported heads, done by Ruggles. T&D shaft mounted rockers. BMS hub, JW wheel, Custom sheetmetal oil pan, HR S2 motor mounts, RJC Billet pullys, Only thing motor needs is intake. The motor only has Dyno time on it, but I would be willing to take it back to the builder and have it gone through once a deal has been made. Only had 1 clean run on the mustang dyno. Had issues with the ATR headers. At 6psi it made 425 to the wheels. The motor is still in the car, hopefully will be out in the next week or so... I can email more pics of the motor to serious parties. $7,500

Why not?

dsnt On center mean that the motor will not match up to most my parts in the engine compartment?

You would have no issues with your parts matching up.... Look at my 2nd post pic. You can run the stock accesory bracket for A/C, Alt., Pwr steering. I had the spacers made so all the pully's/belts would line up. Now Glen's point is correct about the SII heads. You will need a custom intake and headers, and alter you A/C box to clear the heads/v. covers. I ran all the stock stuff in my car as far as engine compartment, most wouldn't even know it was a Stage II motor in there. Your best bet would be to buy a On Center or Off Center motor with production style 14 bolt heads. If you get an Off Center you can run a stock intake. On Center you could buy a Champion O.C/production Head Intake. Both would be able to run production style headers.. Also the Stage II heads run a different cam. HTH

Here is a little more info.. The on-center block was made to center the connecting rod on the piston pin. The difference between the blocks is the cylinder banks were shifted fore/aft approximately .120"-.125" to center the rod over the piston pin. When the banks were shifted, the crank, mains saddles, cam and lifter bores remained in the stock production location.

With the banks shifted, when the heads are fastened, they are also shifted. That means the stock/stock style intake, headers and rockers/lifters will not line up.

The stock "109" block is an off center block. A stock production block (off-center) has the connecting rod shifted to one side.
