New member, picked up a 1979 sport coupe.

Hello all. I recently picked up at 1979 regal sport coupe. It was a little rough but the frame and body for the most part were in good shape. Passenger floor board is gone but other than that very little rust on the car.

I removed the 3.8L and the trans it came with. Im looking to put a more modern drive train into it. I picked the gbody platform for its availability and support, the fact that it is a rwd body on frame set up.

It is also my first project of this magnitude so it is a learning experience for me and gives me a chance to save a before black Buick

got a 4.8/5.3 out of a part yard a couple weeks ago. Havent pulled the heads to see what pistons it has and forgot to get the VIN off the tahoe i got it out.

Total sleeper. Heck! You can make some money with that sled. NO ONE would ever see it coming.
