My Ta 49 is acting strange

Hello,
When I first put the turbo in the boost guage would shoot up to 15 very quickly, but now when I floor it the guage will stop at 12. I have the stock dash guage. Could it be that my wastegate solenoid is bad???

P.S. can someone also please tell me how to set the adjustable wastegate.

The factory boost gauge is about as acurate as looking at a tire and trying to guess how much psi of air it has in it. Get an aftermarket gauge before you start adjusting the actuator.

When adjusting the actuator, remember that shortening the rod will increase boost and lengthening it will decrease boost. Make small adjustments to be safe....1/2 turn to 1 full turn on the rod and check to see how many lbs of boost you are getting.
