Installing new SMC pump/tank?

I am replacing my round tank with the rectangular tank and I can't remember how I removed the cover to mount the tank. Are there just four bolts holding on the cover over the radiator that the original round tank bolts to? How do you access the bottom two bolts? All I see is a spring loaded clip holding on the lower bolts. If I remove those clips, will the bolts stay in place or fall out? Thanks for any assistance.
