Injector storage

In the near future i'll be pulling the motor for new shortblock and want to know what is best to put in the injectors to keep them from rusting? I was thinking of just putting a few drops of 3in1 oil every couple of days. Would that be sufficient or no?

If you live in Hickory, NC, I wouldn't be too worried about rust. Just remove all the fuel and put the 6 injectors in a glass jar, spray some WD40 inside the jar, and screw the lid down nice and tight. It should be ok for years! Just don't put it in the attic where it will get 130 degrees in the summer.
