I am losing oil out this fitting and it is tight. Is there a grommet, gasket or fitting inside that wears out?

top pic is @ oil filter adapter. this gets an o-ring as Chuck noted.

bottom pic is at radiator.

see replacement hose set pics at HighwayStars. shows one o-ring per hose.

suggest purchasing a viton o-ring assortment from the likes of HarborFreight, etc. buying them one at a time will cost you.

this way, you'll have an assortment of these small o-rings for these lines as well as the fuel lines, etc.

Maybe not your first choice, but you can always remove the external oil cooler lines/ adapter entirely and just put the oil filter back on. Mine were a leaky mess and now I run without it.
