There was a post on here prior where a person claims 10's on pump gas and a hidden agenda. I would like an opinion or 2 on my combo. I am being transparent and have no hidden agenda. Obviously a proper tune & seat time is required.

Weight; 3450 car less full tank of gas
Powertrain; 109 233 cid, (0.020) 2 & 3 caps, Eagle forged internal balanced crank, Mulnar rods, Diamond pistons, total Seal rings, Champ ported GN1 heads, TA exh manifs, TA c/over, 8.74: 1 static compression, 1.6:1 T & D's rockers, Comp 212 / 206; 111,Champ ported intake manifold, Hemco plenum, TR6, XFI, T63e (6365) with worked comp wheel, worked comp hsg & turbine hsg, rjc 315, 62mm t/b, 80 lb, PTC 9.5, Janis Trans, 430 lph f/p, 8an feed, 6an return, 3" shorty straight shot exhaust, 3.42 posi

Not sure who's post you're referring to, but I have personally ran a high 10 on straight 93 octane.

The combo (to the best of my recollection): Weight 3350, Powertrain: 109 247 cid (std bore) 2 & 3 caps, forged internals, GN1 aluminum heads, TA stainless headers, stock front cover modded by Weber performance, 9.0:1 static compression, 1.6 Scorpion rockers, 218/212 hyd roller cam, Champion intake (the aftermarket one, not the ported factory one), stock ignition, Precision 6466CEA turbo with .63 A/R, 80 lb injectors, PTC 9.5, Janis Trans, single 255 fuel pump, stock fuel lines except for the engine compartment, #6 feed, #4 return, dual 2.5 exhaust, stock 3.42 posi, stock computer with TurboTweak chip, stock MAF sensor, homemade front mount intercooler (off of a bus), old Monroe shocks with bags, 90/10 front shocks, HR rear sway bar, boxed lowers and adjustable uppers, 295/55 BFGs.

Tune: Boost: 20 - 21 psi. Timing 18 (1st/2nd) and 19 (3rd/4th). Air/Fuel ratio 11.1 to 1 (wideband O2).

TIMESLIP:
1.605 (60ft)
6.98 at 98.06 MPH (1/8th)
10.98 at 123.37 MPH (1/4)

Your combo is very similar. Low 11's is a slam dunk, but tens is tough. Everything has to be perfect.

Thanks for your response. My ported GN1's and turbo work may offset your stroke. Again thanks for your input.

Position of the plug in the aluminum head (GN1) will reduce required spark advance. Fuel sensitivity to an external source of combustion (other than the spark plug ie carbon or un-scheduled fuel) is another story. Pump gas is usually not consistent due to time in the tank etc. 100 (R+M/2) which may not really be 100 octane by the time I get it) hopefully would be fine. Please let me know if you see gaps in my combo.
