Help! Backfire through Exhaust
Sometimes when under WOT, I get this loud explosion that makes you think you blew the mufflers off. Even after letting off, it pops a few times while coasting. I put the car in Neutral as I am rolling, turn the switch off, and recrank. After that, cruising is back to normal.
After a few choice words, I put her back to the floor and soon after full boost is reached the car fell flat on its face and again came the BOOM.
I dont have a scan tool yet but I know fuel pressure is fine. It seems like I have read similar posts and they mentioned ignition components, cam sensor, or crank sensor as the culprit.
Can anyone help me narrow down the possibilities?? Thanks.
