Fusible Link Question

What gauge is the fusible link that connects to the ECM power lead connector? Recently noticed the wire adjacent to the molded plastic barrel is completely rotted away. That molded plastic barrel has a '20' printed into it.... 20 amp, or 20 ga.... and sooo many other possibilities....
any info would be great, thanks

A fuseable link is 2 guages smaller than the primary wire. Find out what size the wire after the block is and go 2 sizes down from that.

thanks charlief1! I will have to check it out. any idea where to get fusible link wire, how long should it be?, or is there a kit available. I can't see spending $$$ for the complete battery cable kit available from caspers, but if i can't find a reasonable substitute repair method, then i guess that is my only option. hopefully someone will chime in
