I want to make my OEM defroster switch control my electric cutout. I would love for the light in it to go on when open but I would settle for the switch to just control it. Are there any people that could convert it for me? It does not matter what is done to the guts of the switch, just want to keep the OEM look for the dash. I will pay top $$$$.

shouldn't be too tough to do.

I would make sure you have a spare before gutting your original.

you need a momentary switch (cant leave it ononce its open) and a way of reversing it to close so using the defroster isnt as easy as you think

I don't use the defroster so I don't know if that makes it easier or not.

I basically need to make the defroster switch a rocker switch like the electric cut out one. I realize having the defroster light to light up would difficult. Either way that is why I am looking for a genius

Bob- I do have an extra defroster. Is that something you think you can take a shot at?

OK did some research looks like I need to convert it to a double pole double throw center off momentary switch.
