engine went.... looking for a good shop in southwest michigan area.

I was wondering if there is a shop that works on GN's near me, I live in Kalamazoo, MI. I really don't have the time to take out the engine and rebuild it since I am trying to finish our new house. any recommendations for a good shop near me? I would really like to get this thing done. the car still drives, but it pushes oil out of the oil filler cap and the dipstick tube and smokes like crazy. It sounds like a bad piston to me.

i'll bet you just blew a headgasket into the lifter valley. That will cause oil to shoot from every breather on the engine. But if you did pop the motor, i do have a rebuilt 87 short block for sale. has J&E pistons and is ready to go.

I don't have a clue.......nothing but bad luck in GR with my car.

Maybe Turbo6x2 or Men in Black can help.

a bad PCV valve can cause the crankcase to pressurize and blow oil everywhere. Chances of it being a bad piston are WAY slim!
