Dash 'Chrome' Plastic Strip?

Hey -

I'm looking to replace or refinish the plastic chrome strip that runs along the dashboard (immediately under glove box). I know they're a pain to find, anyone know of a source? Or does anyone have a recommendation on refinishing? Mines in decent shape, just some cracks in the 'chrome'

Get some chrome HVAC tape from Homo Depot and verneer the trim piece. If you're good with a razor blade you can rechrome the trim around the air vents too.

I bought some from Walmart as the 3M brand stuff at Lowes had their logo imprinted all over it. It worked great to restore the chromed edges of the dash plaque and the gauge bezel.
