Cold air intake with Alky

Is a cold air intake useless with Razors Alky? I have the tinman and dont like how it hangs so low. Might go back to stock if it isn't needed with alky.

I have run it both ways.mine is inside the car now but I pump alot of meth in and my intake temps are cold enough while having enough intake flow.

Ok so I guess the consensus is that inside the engine compartment wouldn't hurt any. I'll probably go with a k&n cone style in the engine bay then.
