image.jpg I just installed a set of vector 8.5 wide wheels and 255/60 tires on my turbo T. I have an issue with slight contact on the drivers side with the fender lip. If I go with cast drums vs aluminum that are on the car will this help? How much difference in thickness are between the two?

I have read on this site that the aluminum drums are around 3/16" thicker than steel drums. Is this true?

Cast drums are .127 and the aluminum drums are .247 just in case someone wants to know. That's roughly 1/8" difference. That 1/8" did help in my case.
