Ok it is not a my Turbo car but thought I would ask.

I just bought my Wife a Supercharged Navigator that is made by a company called Stillen. They do aftermarket upgrades on SUV's.

It has a Novi 2000 blower and I dont know Jack about it!

However it cant be much differnt then our Turbo cars, same basic concept. Grade of Fuel, Proper fueling, timing and Boost.

When I first got it the thing was detonating like firecrackers, I discoverd that thier was aftermarket duel injector set up similar to our 7th injector system. This is triggerd off of Manifold pressure.
Through some examination I found Vacume leaks on the lines that feed the contoller for this.
I Fixed this and improved on the detonation.

However it still detonates due the the fact we can only geet 90 octane here in Alaska.

My question is what do you guys think about me just throwing on a Alcohol kit like SMC or something?

My wife will probably never boost this thing, but I would like to be able to pound the throttle every once and awhile.

Actually a centrifugal blower is a piece of cake.

Yes same concepts as the Buick motor. Tuning may be required to realize benefits..

And if you can hear knocking..thats a really bad thing.
