!7" rims ,,back spacing and HOW wide in Rear

I want some wide 17" rims in the rear ,,will 17x9.5 fit the rears and if so what back space to use...or can I use wider

I have 275/45/zr17s on the back 9.5 wide with 5.5 backspacing.....no rubbing .

17x9 = 4" BS on my Torq Thrust II's 275/40/17 NO rubbing

17x9.5 with 4.75inch backspace for the rear and 8.5 with 4.25inch backspace for the front. They fit perfect, 255s on the front and 285s on the rear.

I ran 17x8 with 4"BS on my last T, but would like to see what the wider rears look like.

Mine are Simmons wheels and they make them for your application when you order them. One guy on this site got the 5inch backspace but that is the MAX you're gonna fit. Call the manufacturer and ask them directly. Tell them the sizes that I told you cause they fit PERECT
