Chuck, I looked closely at MM and they had a nice solution but the packaging was too big for my engine compartment. I just couldn't find a good spot for it. If you are using one could you post a picture of it's location? I would switch to one if I could fine a nice spot for it.

Are you using a closed system? If so you can take the line going to the intake pipe and route it to the other valve cover and skip the Tee. That will give you fresh air in the block under vacuum and help evac the block at high rpm.

The coldest I start my car is 40 degrees. Starts no problem. No running issues. At colder temps it's recommended to turn your headlights on for a few seconds to wake up the battery then turn them off and start the car. Again I haven't had to start in freezing weather.
