FAST B2B TFI wiring problem on Mustang...

Makes sence! I have left the FAST "points" wire disconnected and begun tuning. Now I just need to figure out why there is a MAJOR dip in power... car makes 665hp at 5900...450hp at 6200...and 640hp at 6500!

FAST B2B TFI wiring problem on Mustang...

I'm having some problems with a FAST bank to bank TFI setup on my car with an MSD Digital 6 ignition. According to the FAST instructions the white "points" wire connects to the points input wire on your aftermarket ignition system, if you are using one. Also, according to FAST I am supposed...

Need help setting timing on TFI Mustang with FAST ...

The car is a 5.0 with a YSI blower that runs c16 at all times. I only used 35* to set the timing and it definitely idles best with 35*. WOT timing is 25* peak torque.

Need help setting timing on TFI Mustang with FAST ...

I just installed a FAST TFI bank to bank setup on a 93 Cobra. I've set the spark table to 35* everywhere, set the crank reference angle at 10* and made sure the idle spark trim is set to 0. If I rev the motor up to 3000+ the FAST dashboard shows 35* steady for the timing and I can adjust the...

? regarding MAP sensor and F.A.S.T

I currently have a 3bar map sensor on my car since I have 16psi from a blower. I took the blower off of the car for now and will be running around NA for a few weeks. I want to tune a program for my NA combo and need to know if I can set the MAP sensor parameter to "1bar" in the "fuel calc...

    Need HELP...Multiple problems with F.A.S.T

I'm having a few different problems with my B2B FAST TFI system in my Mustang. The first problem I have is related to the wideband o2 sensor. I have just got my sytem installed an running. I had the FAST o2 sensor in the passenger side header collector and my stand alone Bailey AFM-1...

Question about injector duty cylce and pulse width

The car had 30# injectors and made 371rwhp with a stock EEC. I've come to learn that the duty cycle was indeed 112% with the 30's and DFI. The car now has 42's. I'm not sure why the duty cycle was so high originally with the 30's and DFI since when the car had the stock EEC the duty cyle was...

Question about injector duty cylce and pulse width

Craig Smith, The car i'm trying to figure out the duty cycle on is a V8 Ford Mustang with a Gen 6 batch fire system on it. You said that the total available time is 20ms, but that is based on the injector firing once per intake valve event(or every 720 crank degrees), correct? Since I...

Question about injector duty cylce and pulse width

JDEstill, Ok I have DFI Gen 6 "batch fire" and it is showing that at 6000rpm's that the pulse width is 11.2ms. Am I at 56% duty cycle or am I at 112% ???

Question about injector duty cylce and pulse width

Is the formula for calculating duty cycle, if engine RPM and pulsewidth is given, the same on SEFI, bank to bank, and batch fire EFI systems? The formula I have is: (1/ (rpm/120)) = 100% duty at a give rpm. Measured pulse width (in seconds) / 100% duty at a given rpm = duty cycle THANKS!

    Idle A/F ratio questions w/ F.A.S.T.

Does it matter what A/F ratio your car runs at while idling? From what i've read on this board most people seem to think that cars idle better in open loop and with a 13.8:1 A/F ratio or richer. I've just got my car running with the F.A.S.T and it seems to idle best at around...
