    Gas cap vented or non vented?!?

    I have a strong fuel smell at gas cap. I checked the cap that was on the car when I bought it and it's a vented cap. Shouldn't this be a non vented cap since the fuel vent line runs to the charcoal canister in the engine bay? Or does the cap need to be vented as well? Sent from my SM-G935V...
