I am looking for a 3.8 honing plate. I have found a what appears to be a Buick V-6 Stage II honing plate. This means it will be set up for a 4.020 bore and has 14 bolts. What I need to know is will it work on an eight bolt 3.8. Are the 8 bolts and the bore spacing's the same? Thanks

I am looking for a good used honing/torque plate for the Buick 3.8. Bore would be 3.8" , with a bore spacing of about 4.250. Bolts would be about 4.250 x 3.100. Image is generic!
