Welcome to Syclone & Typhoon Tech Forum

Yep I was supposed to leave last night but missed my window of driving in 120º heat without an A/C. I'm leaving Denver in a few hours....hitting some outlet malls up in Dillon then driving to Las Vegas timing it to be there around 8 am. Meeting up with some people, staying the night. Then...

Welcome to Syclone & Typhoon Tech Forum

Morgan and Dan are friends. If it was mean spirited, I would of moderated it. I keep a close eye on things so it doesn't turn into what I've seen other boards turn into.

    Code 1870, on a 96 Impala SS

Oh, I looked at your sig and thought you were talking about that car. What TC are you running in your current set up?

    Code 1870, on a 96 Impala SS

The 1870 code is set when your TCC or other clutches slip. This isn't good. There can be many causes. Weak solenoids, bad O rings or seals, band slip, stuck valves, or simply the fact that your TC is a high stall and is affecting the computer just to name a few. I would call Mike at PMAC...

No, I've been working on more special hard parts for the 4L60/4L60E's. I'm planning on transbrakes for the 4L60E and 4L80E as well. I'll keep everyone posted on the new products once we make them available. Lot's of cool stuff to come. Take care,
