I think that the 18 would be a great choice but the 17 has some advantages. 17" tire selection for drag radials and slicks are more plentiful than the 18's. The 17" wheel also allows some sidewall wrinkle to still happen during the launch vs the tight 18" sidewall. I also think the 17" wheel...

More updates!!! Refinishing the rear quarter windows New bead! Installed!

Some more updates: The car is back home minus the hood and fender flares! Time to assemble! Here is the rear put back together, the shaved bumper looks great and the paint looks amazing!! Amazing how much the new paint brings the car back to life. This 84 has never looked better...

But making a 17x10 the same weight of a 16x8 is not very realistic.
