Thank you all for the prompt responses. Looks like the GN1 rad and fan setup is the route I'll go. The GN is the car I drive everyday plus the annual trek to BG. Can't afford any of its systems not being 100% reliable.

Saturday the 18th is their Father's Day car show. Last month they had over 200 cars. Many I had not seen before. Free to spectate, $15 to enter. Judged show. Good show. Good cause.

Well it was 95* in Fort Worth today so I finally got around to checking the A/C in the GN. I haven't run the A/C in a couple of years. Still running R12. Gauges show 53 on the low side and 325 on the high. Looks like the shop manual says it should be around 35 and 240. Simply overcharged...

Looks like perfect weather for today's CCC car show!

Just installed mine 10 days ago. Got mine from Kirban's. Easy install with a floor jack and 2 jack stands. Perfect fit. A lot quieter than my 3" with Flowmaster 50s, obviously. Nice sound. Some drone on mine. Wish I had made the change earlier.

The happy face is from full throttle. Should have a sticker on the under side that will reveal the parameters. If so it will be easy to decode. Good chip. I've run one for 15 years.

All the Buick events, local or national, appear to be on their last legs. If the Buick faithful would show up in the stands, in the show, on the track, as vendors, or the swap meet, this would not be an issue. If enough Buick fans came to the Buick events there wouldn't be room for the brand xers.

You all nailed it. A fun event to watch but I don't think I'd race there. The Caddys are very quick. The Dodges were dogs including 2 Hellcats. Definitely a unique event.

I plan on going tomorrow night. I have not been there before as a spectator or participant. Anyone one gone? What's it like?
