The battery is ok. I havent started it in a couple weeks.I changed the fuel filter and I represured the fuel line. Hot wire pump goes and i checked the schrader valve to make sure. It wont crank. Previously it started first try. Any ideas? I refuse to let a car get the better of me.

gasket The gasket was stuck to the housing. I managed to get it off, it was so dirty and worn I thought it was the housing. No wonder the new gasket failed. I will probably be fine now. I assume the right stuff is a product name. how much do you use?

I smell gas when she is running. I smell it in when its running. It doesnt seem to be any leaks in the fuel line. the tank, fuel lines to the filter seems good. I think if it was leaking i would smell it everytime I go into the garage. The previous owner changed the injectors and chip. maybe...

what are your thoughts on using a gasket and rtv sealer? The original had no gasket or sealer. I used both and it leaked. I am not sure i had it torqued enough, i want the second try to be correct. I am almost done getting it going.

tcc For what is worth, i just did my transmission. I changed the filter and fluid. The trans control solenoid went smooth once i got the right part. The walk thru helped alot.

vacuum brake line I did use the vacuum brake booster on my dodge stealth twin turbo. I havent done it on my GN yet. I bought the aerosol to spray into the throttle body/plenum.That is another option.
