I have some spare nitrous parts enough to make a intercooler sprayer. Is it gonna make much of a difference if I spray down the intercooler like after I do my burnout before the pass?

I just broke the original transmission in my 87 Gn and just bought a tci 2004r. Now I need a converter and have no clue which one to get. The car has a te44 turbo with the Gn110 cam. Are their any other factors to look at when buying a converter? Thanks Any help much appreciated.
