I have an SMC alky system in my car. Right now, I am running Snow's Boost Juice in it because it is 51% water and 49% methanol. I'm afraid if the pump leaks it will cause a fire if I run straight methanol. Is this a legitimate concern or am I just being paranoid?

Our cars came from the factory with two slots in the license plate frame. The gas cap will fit in one of these slots. It holds the frame almost flat while you are filling up the car. I do this every time I fill up. Just putting it out there in case people aren't aware it has this feature.
