How many of us here are the original TR owners of their cars? And Odd never seen before options.

Only if I would of known, but that would of been another year wait for me....But remember, back in August of 1984 all the '84 GNs numbered production models were already made. Remember they were only making just over 2000 of them and it was to late to order one at a dealership and you never saw...

True. But I wanted sound wiring installed in the car so got the basic sound system, just thought it was odd a car made in the mid 80's wound still come with only a AM radio.

Was just a thought of how many still have their TRs here from day one? Maybe even more of a smaller number how many walked into a dealership way back and "Ordered" their car and still have it? Normally dealers order the cars themselves with an option package for the wants of buyers. With a...

What were you driving at 16 ?

At 16 I was still driving, (when I was allowed to which was not that often) my mom's 66 Mustang. Nothing special, as it was good looking even with the pony interior, but it was a sad straight 6 car :(. But I worked hard and saved up for my first car ad a few years later I had my first car, a 69...

    Looking at a 85 GN

Could be.... Just based on my '85 it would take quite a few miles for that to happen, I've never seen a low mike Hot Air car with that much heat damage.

    Looking at a 85 GN

From the photo Just a look at that very damaged n worn hood heat shield and I would add another 100k , maybe even 200k to those owner claimed miles.

OFFICIAL: wheel/tire picture thread... show em off!

These wheels are real hard to find as they are now considered vintage. BMWs and Corvette would run them as they were real 3 piece wheels. I was lucky enough to get them off a guy with a modified sports car and they were to wide for his fiberglass fender flairs. Here is an old ad for those...
