starter tell the guy at the parts store to kiss your ___. i went through five starters on an 87 monte carlo before getting a good one. there was nothing wrong with the car. only advice don't buy a reman starter, especially not from autozone or advanced!!!!!

battery cables yeah, sounds like a bad connection at one of the battery terminals

thanks yeah, it has a chip, i was thinking of throwing the stock chip back in just to see if it would make a difference

87 grand national, will not stay idling by itself when cold, replaced iac, old iac was showing 26 on scanner, number did not change when car would stumble, can blocking off the throttle body coolant lines affect cold idle???

car does not want to idle by itself when cold, any pointers???

friend installed boost controller, but still can't get boost past ten pounds. seems to have no effect
