Thanks. I wonder if the core support from an '81 Regal has metric or SAE bolts? Maybe that's part of my problem not being able to find the right bolts in my "coffee can organizer".

I took my old chrome ones off and removed the old rubber (carefully; they are stapled on there). I then placed the new black ones over top of the old chrome and made minor trial and error adjustments until they fit nicely on the door (I had to elongate one of the holes in the new black ones)...

This is the outer weatherstrip that mounts on the door at the bottom edge of the window. They are new from GM, and made in the US. They are the black versions for GN's & T's w/black-out. One pair. $80 shipped within the US.
