Can you get any Grand National to pass emissions? What i mean is if they dont have EGR you can get them to pass right? And what about running on race gas...should you run just regular gas to get them passed? Also I know about the convertor and what not. Also if they don't pass how much is it...

Ok she followed me and its ok....and she followed along side me and she showed 29mph and i showed around 28 or 28 so I guess i'm fine for now...im so happy :D

Alright thanks Scotty. I got down and looked and they aren't rubbing the from and I can almost get a finger width in between them and the frame. So I guess I'll leave them for now.

Good me either...didn't know that if I pushed it too far one way if for some reason the car would think I was going way faster than it read. But i don't think thats possible is it? Oh well just to be safe I'm going to have my girlfriend follow me around the block in her car and then compare...

My car has the 275/50/15s on the back. Thats what was on it when I got it. I've only driven the car 50 miles but I didn't hear or feel anything rubbing. Do you think I should change sizes? These are the stock rims btw. Also how far off would this put my speedo?

Yeah but now I'm worried I've got the trip thing reading wrong which would screw up my mileage...could I have altered that at all by moving the needle with my hands to get it to reset? It says I drove 8 tenths of a mile but I don't think I drove near that far checking the speedo.....

i think I've actually fixed something on my own LOL....I just took it a drive around the neighborhood and it seemed to work ok.....im excited...and all i did was kinda move the speedo needle back forth with my fingers gently till it kind of reset itself...

I'm sorry to ask so many questions but can someone go look at their GN and tell me where the needle rests while its parked? Mine was at 15mph and now its laying flat below the 5mph even...not sure if this is where its supposed to start off?

I'm trying to take my speedo apart to hopefully reset it to zero. (its stuck on 15 when not moving) and I can't figure out how the trip thing comes off so I can slide the face of the speedometer out. I'm sure its something really simple I'm totally overlooking.

Ok hey Mark I finally got around to trying to do this. I've got the cluster apart and I am to where I can see/touch the speedometer needle. Do I need to take this out too? Or am I supposed to work with it from here?

Yeah low 13s on the street isn't bad at all. We've got a CL55 and that thing is the fastest car I've driven. On the street its really tough to beat. I imagine with mods in the 11s running the higher boost you get really really bad wheelspin on the street if you don't watch it correct?

And strikeagle I would have to say they had some serious mods....I had a 99 Vette and with ram air the best I could get was a 13.2. And I wasn't a bad shifter either..its was a 6spd. If I could have hooked better I think I could have hit high 12s. So yes they must have had quite a few mods on them.

Exactly Strikeagle....and in no way was I putting down stock GN's in case anyone takes it that way. I was just saying they aren't the "stock" force they once were. And nothing would be worse than getting beat by a Honda on the street to me lol....but yes as you said someone is always faster...
