    CCCI Question - Fixed

Wish I could lie, but I can't. There has been an idiot working on my car. After last post I went to sit down for awhile and picked up my Chiltons. Looked at the firing order and CCCI pack positions. Can't lie - had 3 cylinders wrong for over 2 days. Changed them and the intermittant miss that...

    CCCI Question

Checked coil part of CCCI and found 0 - 14K ohms depending on which pair of towers is checked. Put on new CCCI upper module. No differance except there are now 6 7K ohms on all 3 pair of coils. Last night with the old coil, 3 cylinders were firing good and 2 intermittant with 1 dead using a...

    CCCI Question

I unplugged my CCCI and ran a compression check. 150 psi. Put in new AC44TCS plugs, plugged the CCCI back up. It started but backfired a few times and runs flat like the plug wires were crossed. They aren't. Could the CCCI be out of time with the crank and cam??

    Miss Backfire

Have had an intermittent miss and started by doing a compression check. 150 all cylinders - good. Rules out exhaust valves. A/C Vibration

What I have found on A/C vibrations: As turbo dave pointed out, all bolts have to be tight. Every single bolt to every accessory bolted to the face of the block has to be tight. To be sure an accessory is the cause of vibration, remove belts on earlier models and serpentine belt on later. If...
