My rear diff yoke has gone bad and I'm weighing stock replacement vs. upgrade. I did a search and found a few mentions of a billet yoke but nothing about who makes it, where to get it, or how much it is. Can anyone help me out on what upgrades are available?

I have found that the clips that hold the caps on the rear u-joint have eaten into the pinion yoke allowing the u-joint to move back and forth in the yoke. In other words, the driveshaft does not stay centered in the rear yoke anymore which causes varying degrees of vibration at highway speeds...

I'm installing the girdle on my block and my question is with the nuts that go on the pan rail studs. One set has a wide shoulder with serrations on the underside while the other set has no shoulder or serrations. Which set fastens down the girdle and which set fastens down the oil pan?

What is up with that? Not that it really matters but I was kinda lookin forward to an avatar.

I'm concidering new wheels and would want them to have a little less backspacing than stock, so what is the stock backspacing of the GN wheel? I seem to have a problem finding a good staight edge to use for measurement.
