87 gn 70k all stock. i plan to upgrade air intake and exhaust. hot wire pump. and get a chip. do i need to upgrade fuel pump. i need one and thinking about a new ac delco for about $75. i have been told not to waste money for a performance pump with these minor mods. what do u think.

87 gn the problem is when i turn on the key the fuel pump won't shut off after a couple seconds. it was traced to the emc it must have a switch that's not working. can anyone fix it or should i buy a rebuilt emc :cool:

passenger side plastic inner fender can it be removed and replaced without taking the fender off. thanks

gas gauge in gn does not work only goes to half when full sometimes tapping on it helps car has new sending unit. anyone have any tips or know of any articles to fix. thanks

dum question but here it is. will a stock 87 gn spin the tires from a dead stop by just flooring it.

my 87 gn has all its orginal weatherstriping still in decent shape soft but some cracks here and there lots of windnoise around windows and ttops. before i spend lots of money and time is it possible to get this 24 year old car free of windnoise or should i just turn the radio up. question is...

87 tb all stock fuel pump not working. i went on vortexbuick.com to fuel pump trouble shooting page and everthing checked out but this. there is power going into the emc from emc/ing. fuse but not coming out telling me the trigger in the emc is not working thus not sending that couple of seconds...

just started replacing my speakers in concert sound system. doors are done with 4 ohm. i did them before reading sticky. is it saying i can have one pair of 4 ohm or two pair before having to rewire thanks.

it looks like the fuel pump prime wire is connected to the brown wire on the back of alternator i have no idiot lights and if i disconnect it won't charge does this make any sense.

can anyone tell me what color and how many wires go to these leads.

the fan on my gn stays on all the time key on or off. the delay relay has two plugs under it. if i disconect the first one thats the one closest to the engine the fan runs all the time only when key is on. if i pull both plugs it still runs all the time with key on. any tips.

i just removed gas tank to replace sending unit and repair gas line.got it all back together but it won't start battery is good all conections good. everthing works when key is on but when i turn the key to start nothing. starter won't engage. any help.
